X-Men: Legacy #231 Spoilers

Spoilers: While the X-Men fight the TO-virus zombies, Blindfold relays Destiny's message to Cyclops: there's a cancer in Muir Island. Cyclops orders Nightcrawler to lead an away team to check out what's going on there. Nightcrawler, Rogue, Magneto, Psylocke, Colossus, Husk, Trance and Blindfold finally reach Muir Island. Magnetos hits on Rogue, but she rejects him. Colossus wonders if Psylocke has lost her telekinesis, but she proves him wrong. Meanwhile, Destiny manages to escape from Necrosha by stealing a seaplane. As there's no sign of opposition in Muir Island, the X-Men begin to doubt Blindfold's vision, especially Trance and Husk. Ruth feels "his" presence and runs away. She meets Destiny, who tells her the vision was all part of "his" plans to lure the X-Men. Blindfold is confused, and while she touches Destiny, her body is possessed by something strange. Rogue finally finds Ruth, but Blindfold is no more: Proteus has taken over.

Notes: I'll post spoilers for Uncanny later. There's nothing special about it.

That sounds amazing!! How can they let Fraction write Uncanny when there are so many capable writers waiting in the wings?

From this summary, the story sounds absolutely great! I wonder if Betsy got any interaction with Husk, it doesn't seem so, but that would be nice.

I'm waiting for your Uncanny X-Men summary, but this Legacy one seems great! In fact, the team Nightcrawler chose could become the main X-Men team, don't you agree? Take away Blindfold and Trance, add Dazzler, Northstar and Iceman (and MAYBE Gambit), and that's a winner team - who needs Wolverine and the once-great-but-now-boring main couple?

This issue was REALLY REALLY REALLY good. Mike Carey has setup a great team. Betsy didn't really interact with husk, but they did share a panle or two. Uncanny wasn't good, Betsy didn't do anything either. She just stood on the side like she did last issue. Her only lines were "As you Wish" and "Should-Should I?"

Just curious; how does Betsy prove Colossus wrong? It would be amazing if she flung him around or something. Hehe.

She sents him flying!

This issue was amazing. Carey is at his best while writing a team. He manages to spotlight every characters on the team. <3

Craptions deserve to die lol
I loved Carey's Legacy: great lines, characters interactions, and he develops characters with sense...
I still cant understand how long will Craption be messing with Uncanny.
I hope they fire him and put Kyle & Yost to write Uncanny for April.

Carey is a master writer. I would like greater interaction between Rogue, Colossus, and Psylocke, which reminds me of the good old 80's.

Yeah this looks like its going to be a great little story. Betsy's Tk demonstration was freakin awesome, lets just hope unlike ultimate universe proteus wont posses and kill Betsy this time!

no interacction between Betsy with Husk or Rogue yet...

Trance has a cool power she comes across as a bit of a jerk though, glad Betsy is nice to Blindfold. Cant help think of Marvel vs Capcom 2 seeing Betsy and Magneto run around together, they are always fighting side by side in tournament games.
