Great improvement from the likes of Porntastic Greg Land and Chubby Chaser Terry Dodson. :)

hideous, ugly art.

I see some Cyclops-Emma nipple pinching action here.

Lol love the way Hope is suddenly yesterdays news already because of the 5 lights and they are just letting her traipse off with only Rogue as a body guard, someone who has already allowed Hope to walk straight into a battlefield against orders, Cyclops sure runs a tight ship.

" Lol love the way Hope is suddenly yesterdays news already "

I don't think Fraction cares about or likes Hope very much. She's not his creation. He probably considers her a s a burden.

No one cares about or likes Hope at all. Maybe a few die-hard Jean Grey fans who thinks she's connected to her in some way.

My prediction is that this whole artificial Hope push - new series?! lol - will fail miserably.

Hope is boring and also pretty annoying. I hate how they draw her a million different ways (i.e. with boobs in one issue, no boobs in the other, etc). One character I know they screwed up was Rachel Summers, who wasn't like this in the 80s. Why have another unnecessary addition to the Grey line? Hope needs character development fast cause so far she sucks.

Ugly art.
Ugly writer Craption. I want is head.
No sense Hope.
No sense new Five lights characters, we already got loads of crappy characters around in the background, even A listers in background, like Storm or Iceman.
I though Rogue was suspended by Cyclops to be part of any X-team.
I bet no Betsy in this issue.
How dissapointed!

Well at least we know Betsy's in he Children's Crusade back-up feature, maybe she'll even play a part...

Ok totally off subjuect but hoping that a die hard Xfan can help me out!! I was reading through some old X-factor comics from the early 90's when Pietro and Lorna were on the team led by Havok and noticed something. Why does Pietro and Lorna act so in different to each other..like they have NO connection at all. It's weird because he was always obsessivly over protecive of Wanda but acted as if he could care less about his half sister Polaris and she the same. Just wandering ...

Ob Subject, yeah Hope is/was the most dissapointing character build up to date, the "mutant messiah" thing was so over promoted to just kind of fizzle into a boring character..who is she? how old is she? what are her connections to Rachel and the phoenix? and why the hell is it taking SO LONG to flush out her back story when every one involved is so familiar among x fans..im foreshadowing that once they do flush out her heritage it will be as dissapointing as her whole existance has been thus far!

In addition to Hope sucking, these 5 lights also seem equally suck.

@Anom Re: Pietro/Lorna

I can't give you a real answer there other than the fact that Lorna didn't grow up with Pietro and Wanda, and she has her little moments of mental anguish and absurdities. I don't think the Magneto family really relates to her because they've barely been around each other enough to establish a real connection beyond the most obvious (wedding appearances and such). Lorna is more akin (assoc.) to the X-family than she is with her sister and brother (a relationship that seems to be more emphasized in alternate realities like Exiles and HoM [and its various minis])

Hope is 16 or 17 now, and despite being in over 30 issues, she's such a giant blank slate of annoyingness. She puts the original X-men (until they developed out of their archetypes) to shame in blandness, and she's had more opportunities to evolve. 3 Crossovers and we still know next to nothing about her? Simply amazing.

lorna and pietro acted indifferent to each other in the 90's because they didn't know they were siblings until after genosha was masacred by sentinels, in the 2000's. During their time together in X-Factor they had no idea they were related.

I hope this Generation Hope fails. The only thing interesting about Hope is the mystery of who and how she came to be. Which seems like they will drag it out like the Cable series ugh. She didn't even fix the M day problem. These new lights have problems. Bring back the X ladies we love.

@anonymous- "crappy writers" Can you link us your blog? We'd like to see your writing & projects.

"sucky five lights"? They've JUST been created..

@ treysome- you want a creative project to fail. your nostalgic and your comment is outdated.
